Original article published May 2021, Updated July 2021

Boise, Idaho: Tamarack Grove (TGE) added 10 new team members to two departments and four teams to meet the growing demand of the industry and to support the growth of TGE in 2021. These 10 associates include BIM Designers, Project Engineers, and Engineering Interns.

Logan Marten and Connor Asmus join TGE after spending three years and two years respectively as interns, learning processes and growing with the company. Logan, Connor, and new associate Carmen Pemsler joined the team full-time on Monday, May 10, 2021 after graduating from Boise State University, each with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Tamarack Grove also added two additional full-time engineers, bringing in Erik Boschulte, P.E., who joins the team after spending seven years in various engineering industries, including construction, civil, and structural engineering in both the public and private sectors. Vickey Nidhi, E.I. also joined TGE after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with his Master's Degree in Structural Engineering. Their collective experience will make an impact on TGE and our clients for years to come.

As the Summer approaches, TGE has also onboarded three interns; two from Boise State University and one from University of Idaho - all studying civil engineering, with an emphasis in structural engineering. Ryan Pyper and McKenna Roan will continue their internships through the Fall and Spring semesters, while Rylie Frei will head back to Moscow in September. We enjoy bringing interns in to provide a mutually beneficial learning experience, fresh perspectives, and adding new personalities to enhance our culture.

The BIM/Drafting department rounds out our new team members as they introduced Terry Rousset and Jeremy DeLisle to the team. Terry brings 25+ years of industry experience to the team where he will work with and lead others through a variety of projects. Jeremy, a 2019 Boise State University graduate in mechanical engineering has worked for a local modular building company for the past two years and looks to further his career in the structural engineering industry. Both bring a passion and desire to learn and grow to TGE as the BIM/Drafting department continues to support the demands of increased project numbers throughout the industry.

As of July 2021, Josiah Kotte passed his PE exam and will become a licensed Professional Engineer upon completion of his four-year waiting period after graduation from his undergraduate studies. Connor Asmus passed his FE exam to earn his E.I. credential and will work towards licensure as he learns additional practices in structural engineering. We look forward to supporting our engineers as they continue to pursue new credentials, test for their FE and PE exams, and reach new heights.
